Each level contains its own new words. Including previous levels: N4 + N5 = 1304 words; N3 + N4 + N5 = 2963 words. JLPT levels are approximate guidelines.

Set up direct addition to Anki
- In Anki on your computer, install AnkiConnect (2055492159), then restart Anki and keep it open.
- Click “Test connection”, then allow Nihongo no Kuni in Anki’s dialog. If your browser requests local network access, allow it for this site.
The .apkg package works without AnkiConnect: download it, then open it in Anki. No column mapping is needed. Cards use the language displayed on the site.
Direct addition works on desktop. On mobile, use the .apkg package.
Sources and how it works
These levels follow an approximate community classification; they are neither official lists nor a guarantee of JLPT exam content. A card is marked as mastered after scoring at least 80% on its exercise. This tracks your learning progress without affecting your overall quiz average.
